The Verme Firm - Legal Experience
Ann Verme of The Verme Firm holds a law degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, MN. Ann was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar in 2004, law school being Ann's second career, and is currently a member of the American Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association. During school, Ann volunteered at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS), assisting attorneys with civil litigation cases, including debtor/creditor, landlord/tenant and family law. Ann was also a member of Hamline's Trial Practice Clinic, representing low-income clients in unemployment compensation hearings. Ann is familiar with a variety of areas of law including contract negotiation, employment law, intellectual property and regulatory matters. Ann has also volunteered as a scoring judge for the past two years at the National Intercollegiate Mock Trial Tournaments.
