The Verme Firm - Business Experience

Ann Verme of The Verme Firm has over 30 year's experience in the business world, primarily in the marketing and customer service arena. Projects that Ann has worked on in the past have included everything from installation of new operating platforms, system training, product training, market research, marketing focus groups and long-range planning.

While employed as a consultant at Arundel Street Consulting in St. Paul, MN, Ann worked with clients such as 3M, Anchor Hocking, Personnel Decisions International and Leann Chin to develop and implement short and long-term business development and marketing strategies. These strategies often included designing and implementing market research plans, managing client creative sessions and consumer workshops, consumer and business-to-business client interviews, marketplace research and conducting competitive intelligence.

While employed in the restaurant industry, Ann trained managed a team of employees for a local Minneapolis establishment. In addition to general management duties of training employees on products, policies and procedures, overseeing their work and providing feedback for performance reviews, Ann also worked closely with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Ann also managed store inventory and reconciled daily receipts. Although slightly rusty, Ann can speak some Spanish to help those of you with a Hispanic workforce.
