About Ann Verme
Michigan native Ann Verme graduated magna cum laude from Northern Michigan University with a degree in English and a minor in Spanish. After graduation, Ann moved to Minneapolis to seek employment opportunities and worked in several industries and in several different roles before returning to law school. Ann is a 2004 graduate of Hamline University School of Law and was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in the fall of that year. Ann is a member of the American Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association. In her spare time, Ann is a clarinet player and vocalist for the Calhoun-Isles Community Band and has been an active volunteer for Arc Greater Twin Cities, an agency supporting developmentally disabled individuals and their families, for the past 21 years. Ann also enjoys food and cooking so much that over the years she has amassed a huge cookbook collection - 800 books and counting! In December 2006, Ann started a cookbook blog, Collectible Cooking http://www.collectiblecooking.blogspot.com/ in which she chronicles her attempts to make one recipe per week per cookbook.
